Allita Hotels & Resorts is a boutique luxury resort nestled in the picturesque Kurseong region of Darjeeling, India. wrkstn partnered with Allita to create a brand identity that reflects their emphasis on natural beauty and rejuvenation. Starting with the name "Allita", we crafted their logo, a comprehensive visual identity, print materials, and a website designed to evoke the resort's balance of sophistication and tranquility amidst the stunning Himalayan scenery.

THE ORIGIN OF "ALLITA": A NAME ROOTED IN MEANING
Earth Goddess Connection
Derived from the Greek word for "earth" or "earth goddess," Allita subtly references the resort's connection to nature and its focus on rejuvenation and grounding experiences.
Feminine & Welcoming
The soft, flowing sound of "Allita" has a feminine quality, aligning with the nurturing spirit of hospitality and the concept of Mother Nature.
Resonance & Pronunciation
The name is short (three syllables), and easy to pronounce. The absence of harsh consonants contributes to a sense of softness and warmth.
Cultural Harmony
With global appeal and a touch of heritage, "Allita" transcends cultures, creating a name that complements the resort's Indian setting.

DESIGN APPROACH
To craft a brand identity that embodied Allita's essence, we embarked on a journey of inspiration. We explored diverse visual elements that resonated with Indian heritage, timeless luxury, and the resort's natural environment.
Indian Heritage Motifs:
Our design drew inspiration from the rich tapestry of Indian heritage. We referenced intricate patterns found on ancient coins, the architectural flourishes of Mughal monuments, and the geometric symbolism woven into traditional handloom fabrics.Luxury Redefined:
We incorporated subtle hints of luxury through motifs reminiscent of ornate embroidery patterns found on exquisite textiles and delicate decorative elements from historical Indian architecture.A Connection to Nature:
Keeping in mind Allita's stunning Himalayan setting, we incorporated natural shapes and textures into our design vocabulary.
